Primary reason for the making of this site was a desire for a meaningful web presence. Ideas for content came together quickly. In addition to the projects and photography sections, there is a technical tutorial collection here covering topics in web development. A complete table of contents for the site is available.

Site navigation help
<

If you are on this page, you have almost figured out how to use the front page tree interface. Gray words represent branches that can be extended and collapsed. Behind these links are groups of related content. Green links lead to leaf pages on a specific topic. For example the leaf Java page contains articles and tutorials on Java related topics. In every header of every page appears the name of the current page as well as the link to the parent of the page. Finally, red links lead to pages outside of this site.

Please note that this site uses some of the latest web technologies as specified by the W3C. If something does not look right or does not work properly, please update your browser.

Site tools help

This site uses JavaScript and dynamic content extensively. Controls described here are for the default stylesheet. To get most of these functions in the alternate stylesheet, move the mouse over any section title and a menu will come up.

On the Photography page, some images have a dashed red border, rather than the usual black. Those are new images since the last update.

In the header of every section on the right there is a box with the < character. When it is clicked the section is collapsed so that just the section header is displayed. Also the control is changed to show the > character. Clicking on that will expand the section to full view.

In the header of the top-most section on leaf pages there is also a control with the letter T. Clicking on this control will generate a table of contents section at the top of the page with links to each of the page sections.

The top most section also has an F. This control changes the font size. It moves in a cycle between small and large sizes, there are four steps in the cycle.

The C control located in the header of the first section is there to allow switching of style sheets. Click it and the page will change the layout and design.

Please note that these controls appear with the default website style. When using the alternative (pale green) style, the text size, style and table of contents controls are available. They appear at the top of each page in a section labeled "Control the page".
